Design an energy-efficient nanogrid using PSCAD simulation software. The nanogrid must be a cascaded design which consists of 5 Wind Source components (with varying wind speeds of 6 - 8 m/s), 5 Quasi-Impedance-Source Inverters (Q-ZSIs), and 5 PI Controllers to provide boost regulation at the nanogrid's output. A step-up transformer may be added to achieve the desired voltage level for the battery (12 Vdc, 10 Ah) linked to the nanogrid's output. This battery is used as a storage unit to store the harvested electrical energy from the Wind Sources. Refer to the uploaded files for more details about this project.
